VINNO MUSE: Precision Beyond Traditional Ultrasound

The Ultimus 9LAB is equipped with VINNO's revolutionary MUSE platform, with the unique Tri-modal Imaging Acquisition (TIA). Its flexibility and powerful processing allow the system intelligently apply the most appropriate imaging acquisition mode from 3 modalities: Line acquisition, Zone acquisition and Multi-plane acquisition, to reconstruct the best imaging presentation.


Compared to traditional platforms, the MUSE platform enables higher frame rates and greater clarity, relying on a complete acoustic data processing system to dramatically increase penetration and resolution.

Plane Wave Innovation
Conventional ultrasound creates images line by line, with frame rates of about 20–100 fps. The MUSE platform, by contrast, uses multiple angled plane waves to reach up to 20,000 fps — about 300 times faster. This remarkable speed opens the door to entirely new applications and innovations in ultrasound imaging.
Enhanced Parallel Processing Chain (ePPC)
Unlike conventional beamforming, MUSE technology is powered by an enhanced Parallel Processing Chain. It combines the processing of 2 GPUs with FPGA and CPU in a software-based Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA). This enables full parallelization of image formation — so that each insonification produces a complete image, not just a single line.
